Presently Lee is a therapist for Talkspace, an online therapy platform that allows him to work with clients all over the world as long as they speak English and have access to the Internet.  In this platfrom he works with clients via text-based therapy in a private chat room or via video chat.  How Talkspace works is that you are given a private room to communicate with a licensed therapist.  The client can message as many times a day as they would like and the therapist will respond to your entries at least once a day. This is a very flexible, convenient and inexpensive way to receive therapy and plans start as low as $19/week.

Lee has a very client-centered approach in his therapeutic style and does not tell his clients what to do, but rather works with them to identify the solutions to their problems.  He does this through intential questioning to help the client think about their challenges from different perspectives and offers insight when possible.  From his perspective the client is the expert on their life, but he is there to offer objective insght and reflection as he and the client work toward resolving the challenges bringing the client to therapy.

Read about what Lee's clients on Talkspace have to say about his work:

"Appreciated Lee's pragmatism-- I honestly approached texting therapy very skeptically, but Lee surpassed my expectations. I was worried about misunderstanding over text, but Lee always summarized and reiterated my statements back to me to make sure he understood what I was saying. He offered several times to talk over video and phone. I particularly found it helpful that he offered structured, practical advice with specific timelines and goals. His counseling helped me organize my feelings during an otherwise confusing and chaotic time."

"A brilliant man-- Lee is extremely intelligent and is excellent at addressing every issue I come up with--he also notices things I may not have realized or considered. He is compassionate, non-judgmental, and very skilled. I highly recommend Lee."

"I am glad he is helping me-- Lee is very understanding and analytical. He is helping me to think through what are the challenges I will have to face, and helping me figure out what to do to overcome the challenges.  He is boosting my thinking power and I feel confident that I can eventually overcome those problems.  His responses and suggestions are very friendly as well as professional; I am just really glad that he decided to take my case."
